Virtual trade shows and webinars are rapidly becoming the antidote for companies in the economic downturn. From companies such as Sony to TechInsights, more and more companies and conferences are removing the initial face to face contact this year and producing an engaging on line convention.
In February, the Wall Street Journal published an article reflecting this trend. Titled “Business Solutions: Smart Ways to Cut Costs”, the highlighted several areas technology is helping business stay afloat during these down times.
If the early returns are any indication, the hot technology for 2009 will be…anything that can save money.
